Strasburg Museum - The building started life as a pottery factory in the late 19th Century. That lasted about 6 years because pottery was no longer being used widely food storage - the clay pottery being replaced by glass. The building was eventually taken over by the Southern Railway which used it as the Strasburg Depot intil the early 1960s. Ten years later the building was converted to the Strasburg Museum. Many examples of pottery of the late 19th Century are on display plus many photos depicting the history of Strasburg and this building. Also on display are many toys, wearing apparel, home implements, farm tools and shop machines from the latter half of the 19th Century.
