Union Station - completely restored to its early 20th Century granteur, this imposing structure now houses Kansas City's Science City museum, a giant-screen movie theater, a stage for live shows plus a health assortment of restaurants and stores.

Kansas City Zoo - This 200 acre animal park (yes, we allow humans to come and watch) also features an IMAX Theatre with its 65-foot tall screen.

Country Club Plaza - 14-square blocks of European-style entertainment and culture. A grand mix of shops and restaurants with a good dose of aesthetic fountains sprinkled here and there.

Crown Center - Hallmarks magnificent contribution to the restoration of what was a thoroughly blighted area of Kansas City. Worlds of Fun - A 175 acre fun park. Greatly heralded is the new (in 2004) Spinning Dragons, a wild, spinning roller. They haven't forgotten the younger set, however, and have an assortment of rides and attractions for them as well.

Oceans of Fun - This is the largest, tropically-themed, water park in the Midwest. 60 acres of water rides and attractions including a four-story tall water playhouse, a wave pool plus an eight story tall raft ride.
