  You've probably noticed that most of the attractions from town to town are pretty much the same. There are always the museums, a few of which are interesting. Frequently, there is an historical area - usually downtown. The larger communities frequently have zoos and botanical gardens. If you happen to be musicians, Lawrence has something very different: the Reuter pipe organ factory.
  You are invited to tour the Reuter factory. They do request that you contact them prior to coming so that a mutually agreeable date/time can be confirmed. Groups with more than six people MUST call to make arrangements. Tours are offered Monday through Friday, starting from 9a to 11a. and 1p - 3p. The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes. For questions or reservations, please phone 785-843-2622. This is a working factory, so you will be given safety instructions.
  Although the Reuter factory is just north of exit 202, you must go south on McDonald to W 2nd Street, turn right and right again on N Iowa Street. Follow Iowa north, crossing I-70, to Lakeview Road (if cross the tracks you just passed Lakeview). Turn left on Lakeview, go one block to Timberedge and turn right. The Reuter factory is just ahead at 1220 Timberedge Road.
